Cilfiegan Sawmill is a small family run business with over THREE decades of experience, situated on the outskirts of Usk in Monmouthshire.

We specialise in cutting high quality timber sourced locally from the UK, including Douglas Fir, Larch, Red Cedar and Oak, with some products meeting FSC standards for sustainability. We also stock a large selection of European oak beams.

Originally established in 1983 by Clifford Barrett, Cilfiegan Sawmill was revitalised after years of disuse. Today the sawmill remains in the family, now managed by Colin Barrett and his son Josh. As the demand for timber grows, Colin and Josh are committed to expanding the business, offering a range of softwood and some hardwood sourced from the local area.

Our offerings include construction-grade beams, external cladding, fencing materials and kiln dried oak. We cater to a diverse clientele, including timber merchants, local authorities, joiners, timber framers, construction firms and individuals.
