Waney Edge Cladding
Waney edge cladding is a very traditional style of cladding usually used to clad the exterior of buildings such as houses, barns and garages.
This type of cladding is produced by cutting one straight edge and one Waney edge, and the boards are erected horizontally. Waney edge cladding is left untreated leaving a natural finish without the use of preservatives.
Waney Edge boards are available in:
- Locally sourced Douglas Fir, Larch or Red Cedar (can also supply in European Oak)
- Average width 200 – 250mm
- Thickness: 19mm
Please call if you require a different size to the size stated above
Feather Edge Cladding
Feather Edge cladding is another type of traditional style cladding.
Feather edge cladding starts as a straight edge board, split by angling the saw resulting in two tapered boards designed to easily overlap giving a solid profiled finish.
Feather edge cladding is often left untreated leaving a natural finish without the use of preservatives.
Feather edge boards are available in:
- Locally sourced Douglas Fir, Larch or Red Cedar (can also supply in European Oak)
- Average width 200mm tapering to 25/10mm
We recommend a 50mm overlap on each board.
