Kiln Dried Oak
Kiln drying oak decreases the moisture content within the timber to approximately 10-18% depending on its thickness.
Kiln drying oak is a quicker process than air drying and helps prevent the movement and shrinkage of the oak when used in its final form. Achieving a lower moisture content makes the timber ideal for internal doors, window, shelves and flooring as well as joinery products.
